Charm In Ink

I find it really amusing that many of my high school friends are mistaken on what degree program I chose. Many of you think that I am a student of Communication Arts, Journalism or often you think that I am an English Major student, but then to keep you all posted I am none of these for I am a proud BA Sociology student at the University of the Philippines at Los Banos. Yes, I have considered taking up the aforementioned courses but then I settled on taking up Sociology, so there I think that that cleared things up :)

Time does fly when you are having fun. It seems like only yesterday when I chose to enroll at UPLB and now even I cannot believe it, It has exactly been a month since I started college. The first month seems like a whirl, it has gone by so fast, without me realizing it, I have settled into a new routine, a new life and a new environment. Being in college has taught me many things, as I made the choice to study here I knew that it would not be easy, I knew that I would encounter new things but never did I expect to enjoy it immensely. Looking back I had many doubts as I entered college, I asked many questions and I was very bothered, but looking back now, those questions seem to be very foolish. True, the workload is immensely heavy and the academic atmosphere can really be felt, but there is more to it than that, I now have found friends of my own, I've met new people and I've learned to be more independent.
